High Volume ACTIVE Coin Sorting.
The SC4000 ACTIVE Coin Sorter is designed for the busiest of bulk coin rooms handling extremely large volumes of coin. It is reknown throughout the world as the workhorse for the coin handling industry capable of handling millions of coins per annum quickly and efficiently.
Installed throughout Australasia the SC4000 coin handling system increases productivity levels, decreases staff levels and assists with OH&S issues for heavy coin handling.
The SC4000 is usually fitted with a coin lift to feed the coin automatically from wagons and large bins.
A coin conveyor system can also be installed to send the sorted coin directly to storage wagons, ready for coin packaging.
What is an ACTIVE Coin Sorter ?
Active Sorting is the ability to continue sorting whilst full coin bags or full coin wagons are being replaced/changed over.
The SC4000 Coin Sorter model automatically retains those coins in its sorting mechanism until a replacement bag is attached or coin trolley wheeled into place.
The advanced sensor technology disallows those coins to pass through, therefore increasing the efficiency of the machine as it does not need to stop when a batch stop count is reached.
PASSIVE SORTING (OTHER MODELS / BRANDS)
Passive Sorting is when the machine stops while the full bags/trolleys are being replaced.
Passive Coin Sorting models DO NOT have the ability to retain coins in its sorting mechanism while full bags/trolleys are being replaced.
